I saw this on a British TV show and thought it belonged in your contest.

The couch is a 1977 model. Orange and brown with flowers. Not too much to say about it, seeing tells it all. It is still in good condition for as many years as it has seen! It has been passed down from my grandparents to me, so it has always been in the family!

My mother bought this couch 25 plus years ago. She has tried several times to get rid of it but when I was attached to it. So when I moved out on my own I took it with me. It is extremely heavy as it's a hide-a-bed couch. I cover it with a blanket to cover the ugliness and to prevent the foam pieces from going everywhere. I also have an ugly, folded quilt under the cushions for comfort. I realize the couch is ugly, old, uncomfortable and needs to go.

From the 1970's I think, has a great orange velvet piping around every seam. So ugly I cant stand it!

It's awful. Ugly as all get out. Sets uneven and smells funny too.

not only is it way too long, covered in hideous itchy stained fabric, saggy, contains a fold out bed I'm scared of... it emanates a mysterious and sickly odor. Oh, and I had to actually SPEND $8 for casters so I could use the hideous thing.

Saw it in an upscale department store in Seoul. Selling for 8.9 million won, which is about $8100. Ugly.

This was my parents' couch, bought before I was born. They did finally get rid of it in the late 80s or early 90s, but it was part of my life for close to 20 years. One benefit of such an ugly couch; it makes an adorable dog look even more adorable than usual.

Purchased in the early 70's, my parents had the inclination to reupholster this monstrosity in the mid nineties. Up close the pattern is like paisley fractals, not unlike what one might experience having ingested sub-par LSD.

This couch has passed through many different owners, lived in many different places, and gets uglier as time goes by. It lived with a dog for a while, is full of dog hair, and will smell as such for the rest of eternity. The top once was overstuffed, which pushed your head forward into an uncomfortable position. During a drunken night, the stuffing was cut out with a dull knife. It's actually less ugly now.

This couch was quite a looker when it was young, but the tanning beds and winters in Miami Beach took their toll...

This couch is a castro convertible, I bought it, used, about 7 years ago and had been in good shape. I bought it primarily for the form of the couch and how it fits into my small living room. Since I bought it, my cats (Simon and Abby) also really liked it to use as a scrathing post.

We bought this about 35 years ago and it sags almost to the floor when we sit on it. The fabric is ripped into shreds. The only good thing going for it is it is very large.

We got it at an estate sale for 50. It has little nicks everywhere were a cat clawed at it. It never had the strings hanging down but having a curious son it became uglier and now I can't stand looking at it!!
